There is no Substitute

Porsche Centrum Budapest at S/ALON BUDAPEST

A top-of-the-range car deserves a fancy home.

We’ve seen a plethora of imaginative solutions for vehicle storage over the years - lift-operated, panoramic, recessed or open, minimalist or eclectic - but creating a truly stylish designer garage is a complex task. The limelight is usually on the car as a pinnacle of engineering, which requires a sufficiently large-scale, airy space to make the most of it, while practical considerations cannot be ignored in a room with such special needs.

Porsche Centrum Budapest impressed design lovers in 2018 with a groundbreaking installation as the automotive partner of the very first S/ALON BUDAPEST. This September, visitors can look forward to a similarly high-class presentation: this time, however, the brand’s first all-electric model will be on show. Stay tuned for our interview with Géza Aradi, Brand Director of Porsche Centrum Budapest, to find out more about our partner and the truly special model to be admired at the event.

What does Porsche Centrum Budapest do? What premium products and services do you offer?

For the second time we have the pleasure to be the automotive partner of S/ALON BUDAPEST, which we are looking forward to, as our sports cars will be presented in an environment worthy of the Porsche brand we sell.

Since 2009, we have been serving our customers in an exclusive atmosphere at the Porsche Centrum Budapest showroom on Szerémi Road as a branch of Porsche Inter Auto Hungaria Kft. If you are looking to buy a new Porsche or are looking for a used one, you will find it here, and we are also at your service if and when it comes to professional repair. In 2018, we expanded our capacity, both in the showroom and in the service area, and this year will be no different, so that our customers can continue to enjoy better and faster service.

Which car will visitors of S/ALON BUDAPEST be able to see up close? What makes this model special?

We’re bringing Porsche’s first all-electric model, Taycan, to the show to give visitors a chance to discover it as thoroughly as possible.

Naturally, we wanted to create a modern environment reflecting the myriad of technical innovations to be found in this car.

The Taycan range is available in three body styles: sedan, Sport Turismo and Cross Turismo, with a choice of performance and powertrain options: the base model, 4S, GTS, Turbo and Turbo S. This model is a true Porsche, with a battery that charges from 5% to 80% in 22 minutes with the right charger, giving travelers a considerable range. Of course, the well-known Porsche feeling is palpable during driving - our customers always get out of the car with a huge smile on their faces after a test drive, as the driving performance is captivating.

What should one consider if thinking of buying one of these premium models? Are there any aspects to consider or preparations to make that might influence the decision or choice of model?

Choosing the perfect car is a complex and personal matter, there is no universal decision tree to follow to arrive at the optimal choice, but our team of trained advisors are here to support any veteran and new Porsche owners every step of the way.

For electric cars, it is important to have the right charging facilities at home, and our website also provides information on what is needed for hybrid or fully electric cars. We can help you find your way around, assess your location and even install a Porsche charger if you need one.

How does the Porsche brand’s sense of life fit in with S/ALON BUDAPEST?

As the exhibitors of S/ALON BUDAPEST are also the best in their field, we are delighted to participate for the second time, to showcase another of our models after the highly successful presentation of the 718 Cayman GTS, in an environment that is enviable for all Porsche owners.

Join us between 23-25 September, 2022 at S/ALON BUDAPEST, where creative concepts and inspiring installations will be presented alongside furniture and accessories from leading brands! Until then, follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
