Marc Ange

Artist and designer of the extraordinary

Bridging the gap between Art & Design, Marc Ange’s Extraordinary World revolves around the design of objects, places and furniture pieces. Born in Rome and raised in Paris, the designer’s universe and creations are eternally balanced between real and unreal, perfection and mistake, harmony and chance, a beautiful incarnation of his unconscious. The world of Marc Ange will move to Budapest Arena between September 20-22, 2019 - until then, read on to find out more about the exceptional designer and his spectacular furniture line and accessories that have amazed the international design scene!

After excelling as a luxury car designer, in 2008 Marc Ange decided to expand his creations by opening the doors to his studio Bloom Room, one of the most sought after design agencies in France, and the often silent creator of iconic products and places for brands like Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Louboutin, Paco Rabanne, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Ferrari, Moet et Chandon, Orient Express and more.

Under Marc Ange’s vision, Bloom Room has continued to expand in Europe and Asia. In 2016 Marc Ange extended Bloom Room to Los Angeles, focusing on the design of extraordinary places. He is currently developing concepts for private homes in LA, playing with and reinventing the LA approach to architecture, while expanding to the design of restaurants and hotels.

The Franco-Italian Artist & Designer recently returned to Milan Design Week 2019 with an exhibit entitled An Extraordinary World. Known for creating larger-than-life furniture pieces displayed in a setting that appears like a memory from a childhood dream, for this year’s edition of Fuorisalone, Marc Ange chose Palazzo Cusani, the historic 17th century palace in the heart of the Brera Design District.

Visitors can explore this wonderful sancturay on September 20-22, 2019 at the Budapest Arena. The Le Refuge de la Nuit bed, variations of the Refuge lights, the Astral coffee table, as well as the Les Araignées chairs and the Araignée sofa - reminiscent of spider-like creatures - will be part of a powerful interior design, inspired by the childhood fears and dreams, as well as recent memories of Marc Ange.

Come December, Marc Ange will be working with Italian luxury interiors brand Visionnaire to create a Limited Edition Capsule collection, a cross-over between art & design inspired by animals, which will be unveiled in December during Art Basel 2019, at the Visionnaire showroom in Miami.

You can meet Marc Ange in person at the S/ALON BUDAPEST Interior Design exhibiton at the Budapest Arena on September 20-22, 2019. Get your discount tickets right now, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates and news of the design world!
