The VYF_BUDAPEST brand was founded in 2015 by Tamás Szécsi and Viola Balázs. The raw materials come from Como, Italy, while the design and production take place in Hungary. In addition to silk scarves, they also produce jacquard woven blankets and ties. In the summer of 2023, they released a collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts, designed for the Renoir exhibition in Budapest, as well as a collaboration with Enikő Eged, inspired by Sicily.

Their collections blend old and new, tradition and modernity on the surfaces, drawing inspiration from childhood memories and stories. This apparent paradox is reflected in the products: while the prints are digital, the original patterns are handmade. The brand is open to collaborations and creating products tailored to individual needs. Over the past 9 years, they have worked with companies, hotel chains, airlines, and restaurants. The brand will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025, for which they are planning a grand collection.

The brand will be present at the S/ALON BUDAPEST 2024 event as part of Hello Hungarian Design.
