Viktória Maróti graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design as a ceramic artist. Her work includes both functional and autonomous pieces, with a strong focus on the former in recent years. Her artistic habits are formed by a pursuit of authenticity and and an infusion of her identity into her work. For her latest porcelain sculptures, she employed an innovative method of working with the material, that is unique to her and a product of countless hours of systematic experimentation. Her pieces evoke the techniques of traditional weaving, breaking down the boundaries between ceramic and textile design.
